Sep 7, 2013 - Deep Glen Bay

"This dive was originally supposed to be out to Isle de Phoque, but due to the southerly swell and westerly winds it was moved to Eaglehawk. The day was sunny and warm as the three divers (James P, Eric F, and I) and one boat driver met at Sorell. After a small delay waiting for the key for the lock on the boat to arrive from Hobart we set out for Eaglehawk.
For the first dive we all jumped in on the Northern wall at Deep Glen Bay. Visibility was good (~20m) and there were quite a few crays out now that the season is closed (I don't know how they know it, but they do!). I did my best to scare off all the fish by blowing bubbles and then had to scamper after racking up my 20min deco obligation. Meanwhile James and Eric continued on their dive slowly heading up.

The second dive was at the Boar fish palace (named for its distinct lack of boar fish I believe). Still, some more interesting critters on this dive, we got to see a large skate up close (so close it ran into me when it tried to leave), and a Cuttle fish trying to disguise itself as a piece of kelp.

Overall a nice day's diving had by all.
